Fatal road traffic collision Toormore, Ennis, Clare on the 16/12/09

Gardai at Ennis are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Toormore, Ennis, Co. Clare at approximately 10pm last night, the 16/12/09.

A 30 year old male driver (only occupant) of a car was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to the Midwestern Regional Hospital, Limerick where a post mortem will take place later today, the 17/12/09.

The scene of the collision at Toormore is currently closed pending a full examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The road is expected to re-open later this morning, the 17/12/09.
