He was taken to Letterkenny Hospital where death was pronounced sometime later.
Gardaí at Lifford are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 12.30am this morning the 21/8/09 at The Haw on the N15, which is the Lifford to Castlefin Road.
There were 2 cars involved and the male driver of one of the cars was fatally injured. He was taken to Letterkenny Hospital where death was pronounced sometime later.
The deceased was in his early 20's.
Two other people were taken to Letterkenny General Hospital with injuries sustained in the collision.
The road remains closed at present pending a forensic collision examination.
