Two males in their late 20's have been arrested.
On the 19th August 2009 shortly after midday, members of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Organised Crime Unit, assisted by local Gardai from Tallaght stopped and search a car in the Cookstown area of Tallaght and seized approximately 10 kilos of cannabis resin (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of approximately €70,000.
Two males in their late 20's have been arrested. They are currently being detained under Section 2 of Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996 in Tallaght Garda Station.
