Gardaí investigating the death of Matthew Farrell in Daingean have this afternoon arrested a male.
Gardaí investigating the death of Matthew Farrell in Daingean, Co. Offaly have this afternoon, the 23/4/09 arrested a male in his late 20’s in connection with the investigation.
The man is currently detained at Tullamore Garda Station under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.

Gardai are investigating the discovery of the body of a man in his 60's at 7.30 a.m. on the 1st of April 2009. The body was discovered by a member of the mans family, at a public house owned by the dead man in Daingean, Co. Offaly. The dead man lived on the premises.
The scene is preserved for technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
