Body discovered at Daingean, Offaly on the 1/4/09

Gardai are investigating the discovery of the body of a man at a public house owned by the dead man in Daingean, Co. Offaly.

Gardai are investigating the discovery of the body of a man in his 60's at 7.30 a.m. on the 1st of April 2009. The body was discovered by a member of the mans family, at a public house owned by the dead man in Daingean, Co. Offaly. The dead man lived on the premises.

The scene is preserved for technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
