Gardai at Mayfield are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to their investigation into an assault which took place at Old Youghal Road, Cork.
On Monday, the 27/4/09 at approximately 12.50am, a 31 year old man was assaulted near Balmoral Terrace, Old Youghal Road, Cork. He was brought by Ambulance to Cork University Hospital with severe facial injuries.
Gardai are trying to ascertain the identities of a couple who were driving through the area at the time that spoke with ambulance personnel, and may have witnessed the assault, or anyone who may have witnessed, or have information, in relation to this assault.
