Collision location & date - 1.Galbally, Limerick, 060908. Deceased - James Kinsella, Garryspillane, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick - aged 56 years. 2. Collision location & date - Abbeylara, Co. Longford 080908. Deceased - Patrick Masterson, Castletown, Finea, Co. Westmeath. - aged 40 years. 3. Collision location & date - Terenure, Dublin 6W, 080908. Deceased - Mary Lewis, Church Gardens, Rathmines, Dublin 6 - aged 82 years.

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Galbally, Co Limerick, at 4.35 a.m. on the 6th of September 2008.
A car left the road and struck a tree on the Galbally to Tipperary Road about one mile from Galbally village. There were no other vehicles involved. A 56 year old male, a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, another man aged 29, who Gardai believe was the driver of the car was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries.
The road at the crash site remains closed pending a technical examination by Garda forensic crash scene investigators.
