Gardaí investigating the murder of Marie Kilmartin in 1993 have arrested 3 people on the 23/9/08.
In relation to the 3 people arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Marie Killmartin in 1993 (previous release below refers), the man (in his 40's) and woman (in her 60's) being detained in Tullamore Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act have been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí investigating the murder of Marie Gilmartin in 1993 have arrested 3 people this morning. The arrests were all made in the Portlaoise area. A man and a woman, both in their 60's, are being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act at Tullamore Garda Station. A 42 year old man is being detained under the same section at Portlaoise Garda Station.
