A 24 year old male was shot a number of times in the lower body after he was approached by 2 hooded males.
Gardaí at Finglas are investigating a shooting incident that occurred shortly before 12.30am this morning at the Car Park, Barry Shops, Barry Road, Finglas.
A 24 year old male was shot a number of times in the lower body after he was approached by 2 hooded males.
These males made their approach and getaway on foot.
The injured party was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital Blanchardstown where his condition is described as being stable.
The scene has been preserved and investigations are ongoing.
No arrests have been made to date.
