A 23 year old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and struck an entrance pier near the junction of the N8 and the Ballyragget Road near Durrow
The name of the deceased is Maris Cerniss of Chapel Field, Urlingford, Kilkenny, 23yrs (Latvian man).
A 23 year old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and struck an entrance pier near the junction of the N8 and the Ballyragget Road near Durrow, Co Laois.
The collision occurred at 2.20a.m on the 23rd of November 2008 and the dead man was the only occupant of the car and there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
The collision is under investigation.
