A man is in custody detained under Sec 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Blanchardstown Garda station following the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and cannabis plants yesterday.
Gardai from Blanchardstown Drugs unit searched a house in the Clonee, Dublin 15 area on the 22nd of November 2008 at about 6.45 p.m.
A quantity of cannabis plants and cocaine were found at the scene and a 38 year old man was arrested. He can be detained for up to seven days.
Subject to analysis the cocaine may have a street value of up to €18,000, the value of the cannabis plants is not know at this time.
