It is not expected to reopen until the afternoon. The closure of the road is neccessary to facilitate the removal of the vehicles involved and the clean up of an oil spillage.
Diversions are in place, motorists can divert using the the Old Swords Road (R132) or travel inland on the Naul to Dublin Road.
Motorists are asked to avoid this area if at all possible.
