The Flora Womens Mini Marathon takes place in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday June 2nd 2008
Extensive traffic diversions will be in place along the route which is: Start at Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Merrion Square East, Mount Street Lower, Northumberland Road, Landsdowne Road, Shelbourne Road, Merrion Road, Nutley Lane, Stillorgan Road, Morehampton Road, Lesson Street and finish at St. Stephen's Green.
The following road closures will be in place:
St. Stephen's Green East and Dawson Street from 6am until 7pm.
Fitzwilliam Street from 8am until 4.30pm
Baggot Street and Leeson Street from 12pm to 4.30pm
Merrion Square North from 2pm until 4.30pm Route of race from 2.45pm to 4.30pm
Participants and spectators are advised to make full use of public transport including Luas, Dart and Dublin Bus services.
All city centre car parks are available but there will be no on street parking available.
With very large crowds expected in the city centre members of the public are advised to secure all personal belongings. This includes property stored in vehicles and on ones person.
