Gardai in Cork today seized a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis grass with an approximate street value of €600,000 pending analysis.
The 22 year old man arrested in relation to yesterday's drug seizure in the Mount Oval Estate, Cork City, has been charged and will appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court this evening at 6pm.
Likewise, the 25 year old Venezuelan woman arrested yesterday at Cork Airport in possession of €210,000 worth of cocaine has been charged and will appear at the same sitting.

Garda members for the Divisional Drugs Unit attached to Anglesea Street Garda Station discovered the drugs in the course of a search of an apartment in the Mount Oval Estate, Cork City at approximately 5 pm today, the 2/5/2008.
Gardai arrested a male in his early 20s. This man was taken to Togher Garda Station.
He is being held under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
