As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Rathfarnham of Dublin.
As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Rathfarnham area, uniformed members from Rathfarnham searched an open area off the Edmonstown Road.
As a result of this search a number of packages containing Herbal Cannabis was recovered.
The potential street value of this seizure is €200,000, depending on a forensic analysis of the substances seized.
After this seizure a follow up search was carried out of a house on the Edmonstown Road.
During this search 3 men were arrested - 2 men in their 20's and one in their 30's.
The Divisional Drugs Unit and The Garda Dog Unit assisted in this search.
All 3 are presently in custody in Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda stations under Section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.
This operation was carried out on the 27/3/08.
