Gardai from Portlaoise Garda Station seized Heroin and arrested 2 men following a planned operation in Portlaoise.
On Sunday the 23rd March 2008, Gardai released one of the men detained in relation to Saturday's drug seizure in Laois, a file will be prepared for the DPP

Gardai from Portlaoise Garda Station seized Heroin and arrested 2 men following a planned operation in Portlaoise on the Saturday the 22nd March 2008.
The 2 men arrested are both in their 20's and were detained at Portlaoise Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
The estimated value of the drugs pending analysis is €300,000.
