Gardai in Clondalkin Garda Station are investigating a shooting incident which occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on the 13th June, 2008.
The incident happened at a house in Corkagh View in Clondalkin.
A 42 year old woman was injured as shots were discharged through the front door of her home. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital and has undergone surgery, her injuries are described as are not life threatening.
The scene is being preserved pending a technical examination.
