Gardai in Cavan are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Cavan By-Pass, 2 miles north of Cavan.
Gardaí at Cavan who are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Cavan By-Pass on the 6/6/08 are appealing to the driver and/or occupants of a SUV to contact them.
This jeep type vehicle is believed to have been at the scene immediately prior to or at the time of the collision.
It is dark in colour and was possibly driven by a female.
This person may have vital information in relation to the collision and are asked to make contact with Gardaí at Cavan on 049 4368800.
A general appeal for information still stands.

Gardai in Cavan are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Cavan By-Pass, 2 miles north of Cavan, at approximately 8.45am this morning, the 6/6/08.
It was a two vehicle collision involving two cars.
The driver of one of the cars, a 48 year old woman was fatally injured. She was the only occupant of the car and was taken to Cavan General Hospital.
The female driver and the female passenger of the second car received serious injuries and were taken to Cavan General Hospital.
The road at the scene of the crash, is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Gardai at Cavan Garda Station wish to appeal for anyone who was travelling on the Cavan by pass between 8.30am and 8.50am and may have witnessed this accident, to contact them at 049-4368800.
