Gardaí at Salthill are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R336 at Rusheen, Bearna Road, Galway.
The lady killed in yesterday (1/06/08) afternoon's collision on the R336 at Rusheen in Galway has been named as 79 year old Rita Crean from Frenchville, Grattan Road, Co. Galway.

Gardaí at Salthill are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R336 at Rusheen, Bearna Road, Galway at approximately 3.45 pm this afternoon, the 1/6/08.
The female front seat passenger of a car was taken to University College Hospital, Galway after the car she was travelling in was in collision with a camper van.
She died in hospital a short time later.
The male drivers of the camper van and the car were taken to the same hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The deceased was in her late 70's.
There is no further information available at this time.
