Drug seizure Blackpool, Cork City on the 13th June 2014

As a result of an ongoing operation targetting the sale and supply of Cocaine on the northside of Cork city, Gardai from the Cork City Divisional Drug Unit stopped and searched a car in Blackpool, Cork City on the evening of the 13th June 2014.

During the search of the car Gardai discovered Cocaine (subject to analysis) with and estimated street value of €20,000.
 
A male (24yrs) was arrested and is being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended at Gurranabraher Garda station.
