As part of a planned operation investigating serious crime and the distribution of illegal drugs in the Limerick area, Gardai from Henry Street Garda Station a premises was searched.
As part of a planned operation investigating serious crime and the distribution of illegal drugs in the Limerick area, Gardai from Henry Street Garda Station searched a premises in the Delmege Park area of Moyross at 9.00pm last night - 13th June 2008.
In the course of the search they recovered what is believed to be quantities of cannabis resin and cannabis herb. Pending forensic analysis the resin has an estimated value of €78,000 and the herb has an estimated value of €25,000.
A 25 year old man was arrested during the operation and is currently being detained at Henry Street Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
