Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Quinn on 20 October 2007 have this morning carried out a number of searches in connection with the investigation and arrested three men.
They are aged in their 20's and 30's and are currently detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, at Monaghan and Carrickmacross Garda Stations.
The investigation into the murder of Paul Quinn has involved close cooperation with the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
As the investigation is ongoing, there is no further information for release at this time.
