Fatal road traffic collision on the N81 - Carlow on the 24/7/08.

Gardai at Carlow are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on the 24/7/08 on the N80 Carlow to Wexford road.

 

Gardai at Carlow are investigating a fatal collision that occurred at 7.30am this morning on the N80 Carlow to Wexford road. 

A 61 year old female pedestrian was struck by a car about 2km outside Carlow town. She received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at  St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.

Gardai are not looking for anyone else in relation to this collision. 

The road has been re opened following the collision.
