Gardai at Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan are appealing for witnesses.
The two men who died as a result of this collision are named as Michael Walsh, Beauford Place, Navan, Co. Meath aged 53 years and Frank Keenan, Brackagh, Broomfield, Co. Monaghan aged 77 years.

Gardai at Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N2 between Casteblaney and Carrickmacross involving a lorry and two vans this afternoon (Thursday 10th July 2008).
A result of this collision both drivers of the vans were killed. (Male in his 70's and male in his 50's).
No other persons were injured.
