Gardai in Kilkelly, Co. Mayo are investigating a two-vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 6.45pm at Cloonfallagh, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo this evening, 31st July 2008.
A man in his 30's was pronounced dead at the scene after the van in which he was travelling collided with another van. His male passenger was not injured in the collision.
The two occupants of the other van were taken by ambulance to Mayo General Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road from Kiltimagh to Kilkelly remains closed following the collision, and is likely to remain closed for a number of hours.
Diversions are currently in place.
