Garda from Finglas and Blanchardstown Drugs units, supported by local Gardai, carried out searches at houses in the Finglas area this afternoon, the 3rd of July 2008.
In the course of the searches Gardai seized 25,000 ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of €250,000, and 3kgs of herbal cannabis valued at €20,000.
Two males were arrested, on aged 22 and the other is 47 years old.
They are detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Finglas and Cabra Garda Stations. They can be held for up to seven days.
