As a result of a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service, a search was carried out at a warehouse in Blanchardstown, Dublin.
The 2 men who were arrested in relation to yesterday evening's cannabis seizure in Blanchardstown have been releaed without charge earlier this evening.
A file will be prepared for The Director of Prosecutions and forwarded on completion.

As a result of a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service, a search was carried out this evening (23.07.08) at a warehouse in an Industrial Estate in Blanchardstown.
Cannabis with a potential street value of €1.1million, subject to analysis, was discovered in pallets of tiles which had been imported from Southern Spain.
Two men, aged 39 and 53 were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Blanchardstown Garda Station. They can be detained for a period up to 7 days.
