Gardai from Ronanstown Garda Station, Dublin are investigating a shooting incident which happened at Collinstown Grove, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 after 9.20 p.m. on the 19th January, 2008.
A 52 year old man received gunshot wounds to his arm after being shot in his home, he was later taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.
It is believed that one gunman was involved and the shooting happened in the kitchen.
