Garda are investigating a shooting incident on Lower Kimmage Road in Dublin.
Garda are investigating a shooting incident on Lower Kimmage Road in Dublin at about 3.10 p.m. on the 26th of January 2008.
A man in his 50's is believed to have been shot a number of times in the incident.
The man was shot as he sat in a car, and he tried to drive away to escape his attackers.
The car crashed a short distance away. The injured man has been taken to St. Jame's Hospital.
The scene of the incident has been preserved for technical examination.
Gardai at Crumlin Garda Station are asking anyone who was in the area or who saw any unusual activity in the Lower Kimmage Road area to contact then on 01 666 62 00
