Gardai from Blanchardstown Garda station have commenced a murder investigation following the death of a 66 year old man at Wellview Grove, Blanchardstown.
Gardai have arrested a 21 year old female this afternoon the 27th of January 2008, in connection with the murder of the 66 year old man at Wellview Grove, Blanchardstown at 2.00 a.m. on Saturday, 26th January, 2008.
She is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The 27 year old man detained at Blanchardstown Garda station, Dublin has been charged with an offence under the Non Fatal Offences against the Person Act and released on bail.
He will appear before Dublin District Court 45 on February 19th next.

Gardai from Blanchardstown Garda station have commenced a murder investigation following the death of a 66 year old man at Wellview Grove, Blanchardstown at 2.00 a.m. on Saturday, 26th January, 2008.
He was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown where death was later pronounced.
A second man was also taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown who was also injured in this incident but these injuries are not life threatening.
The scene at Wellview Grove has been preserved for technical examination and the State Pathologist has been informed.
One man aged 27 years was arrested at the scene and is detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
