Gardai investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the N62 main Templemore to Roscrea road.
Gardai investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the N62 main Templemore to Roscrea road at 8.00a.m. on the 17th of January 2207 are seeking witnesses to the crash. A 28 year old truck driver was fatally injured in the crash. The dead man will not be named until all relatives have been notified.
In particular they would like to talk to the driver of an articulated truck with a side curtains (possibly red) which passed the location at about the time of the crash. The truck curtain had letters on the side which may have contained the letters FS. This truck was heading towards Roscrea.
Gardai would also like to speak with the driver of a white van stopped at the scene just after the crash, the driver put on his hazard warning lights and shortly afterwards drove off in the direction of Roscrea. These vehicles were not involved in the crash but the drivers may have vital information about the incident.
