Gardai from Tullamore Garda Station, Offaly are investigating a fatal traffic collision which happened after 4 a.m. the morning of the 9/1/08 at Derryclure, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
A car and a van were in collision resulting in the death of the 23 year male driver of the car.
A male passenger in the car was seriously injured and taken to Tullamore General Hospital.
The driver of the van was also taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
