As part of an planned operation, Gardai carried out a drugs search at Rathvilly Park, Finglas, Dublin.
Two women are due to appear in court in relation to drug seizures in Finglas and Blanchardstown. A 21 year old female detained at Finglas will appear at Dublin District Court No 46 at 10.30a.m. on the 26/1/08 and a second female aged, 21 years, detained at Blanchardstown will appear at Dublin District Court 45 on the 12/2/08.

As part of an planned operation, Gardai carried out a drugs search at Rathvilly Park, Finglas, Dublin at approximately 9.00am on the morning of the 25/1/2008.
The search was carried out by uniformed and Detective units from Finglas.
During the course of the search a quantity of drugs and what are believed to be 9 shotgun cartridges and 40 rounds of .38 ammunition were recovered.
The drugs, subject to analysis, are believed to be cocaine and are estimated to have a street value of €15,000.
Two people, a male and a female, have been arrested and are being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 2 the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
In a seperate operation known as 'Operation Torque' a Garda unit dedicated to targeting drugs and crime in the Finglas, Blanchardstown and Cabra area, carried out a search at Parslickstown Avenue, Mulhuddart, Dublin at approximately 9.30am this morning, 25/1/2008.
In the course of the search Gardai recovered what subject to analysis is believed to be cocaine with an estimated street value of €40,000.
One female has been arrested arising from the search and is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
