Gardai were responding to a report that a break-in was in progress at a house on Mary's Street, Cork.
Four men are in custody today the 20th of January 2008, following an incident at a house at Mary's Street in Cork city.
Gardai were responding to a report that a break-in was in progress at a house on Mary's Street.
One man was arrested and what is believed to be a shotgun was recovered at 5a.m. on the 20th of January at the scene. Shortly afterwards three other men were arrested and other weapons recovered in follow up searches.
The man aged who are in their 20's and 30's are detained at Anglesea Street (2) and Bridewell (2) Garda Stations under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.
