A 38 year old doorman working at the nightclub was injured after a single shot was fired at him by a lone gunman.
Gardaí investigating the shooting of a doorman working at 'Hush' Nightclub, Red Cow Inn are appealing for assistance from the public.
Anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the shooting or who may have any information to offer are asked to contact them.
In particular, they are anxious to speak to a man and a young boy who were near the doorway at that time.

Gardaí at Clondalkin are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 2am this morning, the 10/2/08 at a nightclub on the Naas Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
A 38 year old doorman working at the nightclub was injured after a single shot was fired at him by a lone gunman. The firearm used is believed to be a handgun.
The injured party was taken to Tallaght hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A car believed to be used in this incident was recovered later in the morning in the Dolphin House area of Kilmainham.
A 23 year old man was also arrested in this area after a violent struggle with uniformed members patrolling the area as part of Operation Anvil.
One of the Garda members sustained a broken bone in his hand during the course of this arrest.
This man is presently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.
