Gardai from Roxboro Road Garda Station, Limerick have begun a murder investigation following an assault on a male at Maigue Way, John Carew Park, Limerick.
A 21 year old man is due to appear at a special sitting of Limerick District Court this morning, the 25th of February, charged in relation to the death of 36 year old Charlie Molloy of Maigue Way, Limerick, which occurred on the 23rd of February.

Gardai from Roxboro Road Garda station, Limerick have arrested a man in his mid 20's this afternoon, 24th February, 2008 in connection with the murder investigation launched this morning.
The man is detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
