Gardai at Mountjoy Garda Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the delivery of two bullets to Mountjoy Prison.
Gardai at Mountjoy Garda Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the delivery of two bullets to Mountjoy Prison on 18th February 2008. The bullets were delivered by hand in an envelope by a male who handed them to a prison officer and left.
Two people were arrested at Chancery Street at 2.35pm yesterday, the 20/2/08 in connection with the investigation.
One is a 29 year old male and the other a 21 year old female.
They were arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and are being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station.
