Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Curracunna, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Gardai have named the woman killed in the crash in Mitchelstown on the 5th of February as 76 year old Mary Bradfield, Kilbehenny, Co. Limerick.
The road at the scene of the crash is expected to be re-opened at 10.30 a.m.

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Curracunna, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork on the main Dublin/Cork road north of Mitchelstown, on the 5th of February 2008 at 6.20 p.m.
A woman in her 70's the driver of a car was fatally injured when her car was in collision with a lorry. The body of the woman has been taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.
The road at the scene is closed while Garda forensic collision investigators carry out their enquires. It is not expected to reopen before 9.30a.m. on the 6th of February.
