Gardaí at Kildare are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Walterstown, Nurney, Co. Kildare.
The 8 year old female child injured in today's crash at Walterstown, Nurney, Co. Kildare has died this afternoon.

Gardaí at Kildare are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Walterstown, Nurney, Co. Kildare at approximately 8.30am this morning, the 29/2/08.
The collision involved a car and a lorry.
The car had a female driver and 3 children on board. The lorry had a male driver and no passengers.
One of the occupants of the car, a 7 year old boy, was fatally injured and was taken to Naas General Hospital.
The female driver of the car, who is in her 30's, and the other 2 children were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise with serious injuries.
The road remains closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
