Gardai from Drogheda, as part of an operation into the distribution of illegal drugs, carried out a search of a premises on the Termonfeckin Road.
Gardai from Drogheda, as part of an operation into the distribution of illegal drugs, carried out a search of a premises on the Termonfeckin Road in the town. The search took place at 6.30pm on the 22nd of February 2008.
Gardai discovered a large quantity of Cannabis plants being cultivated on the property, a large quantity of ecstasy tablets, a quantity of cocaine and cannabis resin. The searches are ongoing an therefore it is not possible to give an accurate street value of the drugs seized.
A man in his mid thirties was arrested and is detained at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
