Gardaí at Gurranabraher are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at the local post office.
Gardaí at Gurranabraher are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at the local post office this morning, the 11/2/08.
Two men were outside the post office when the 50 year old postmistress went to open up at 8.30am.
As she entered the post office one of the men pushed the door in after her. The postmistress fended this man off and chased him from the premises.
Both men left the scene and no arrests have been made.
Investigations are ongoing.
The Postmistress received non serious injuries and attended Cork University Hospital.
