Gardaí in Navan arrested one male and one female in relation to the investigation surrounding the circumstances of Katy French's death.
The 19 year old man who was arrested today 21/2/08 in Ashbourne and detained at Kells Garda Station in respect of the Katy French investigation has been released.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The third person who was arrested yesterday, 20/2/08 at 11.15am, and being held at Trim Garda Station - a man in his mid 20's (previous release below refers) - has been released.

The male in his late 30's being held at Navan Garda Station and the female in her late 20's being held at Kells Garda Station, both of whom were arrested yesterday, 20/2/08 at 9.30am, have been released. (Previous release below refers).
Files will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to both.

In respect of the Katy French investigation, a male, 19 years was arrested today the 21/2/08 in Ashbourne and is currently detained in Kells Garda Station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal justice Act.
The three people arrested yesterday are still in custody,the period of detention has been extended.

Gardaí in Navan this morning arrested one male and one female in relation to the investigation surrounding the circumstances of Katy French's death. The arrests were made at 9:30am.
The male (who is in his late 30s) is being held in Navan Garda Station. The female (who is in her late 20s) is being held in Kells Garda Station. They are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A third male in his mid 20s was arrested at 11.15am this morning, the 20/2/08, and is currently being detained at Trim Garda Station, also under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
In response to a number of queries, we can confirm that toxicology results have been received by investigating Gardaí.
As the investigation is ongoing, these results will not be released. The release of these results is a matter for the coroner at a future date.
