Gardai at Glenamaddy are investigating an incident which occurred at The Square, Glemamady, Co Galway at approximately 1.30am this morning (15/12/08).
A 45 year old male will appear at Roscommon District Court at 4pm today charged in connection with the death of Frank Fahy in Glenamaddy on the 15/12/08.

Gardai at Glenamaddy has named the male who died in the incident this morning as 20 year old Frank Fahy from Glenamaddy, Co. Galway.The post mortem has been completed and this investigation has now been upgraded to a murder investigation.
No details of the post mortem will be available.

Gardai at Glenamaddy are investigating an incident which occurred at The Square, Glemamady, Co Galway at approximately 1.30am this morning (15/12/08).
Three men were involved in a assault , resulting in two of the these men (A 20 year old & a 30 year old) been admitted to Roscommon County Hospital.
At 2.30am on (15/12/08) the 20 year old man was pronounced dead at Roscommon County Hospital.
A 45 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Tuam Garda Station.
