Gardaí at Tralee are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred shortly after 5pm this evening on the N69 at Kilflynn Cross and victim named.
Gardai have named the 34 year old female pedestrian, fatally injured in a collision near Tralee on the 2nd of December 2008, as Noreen Lane of Kilflynn, Tralee Co. Kerry.

Gardaí at Tralee are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred shortly after 5pm this evening on the N69 at Kilflynn Cross.
The deceased is a female, believed to be in her 40's, and her body remains at scene.
She was killed after being struck by a car.
The road is closed at present and diversions are in place. Motorists are asked to avoid using this route if possible. The road is not expected to re-open until tomorrow afternoon.
