Gardai in Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Sheena, Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim at approximately 10pm last night (23/12/08) and name.
Gardai at Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim have named the teenager who died as a result of a collision at Sheena, Drumkerran last night 23/12/08, as John Williams 17 years from Derrylustia, Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim.
The 16 year old female passenger remains in hospital where her condition is described as stable.

Gardai in Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Sheena, Drumkeeran, Co Leitrim at approximately 10pm last night (23/12/08).A 17 year old male was pronounced dead at Sligo General Hospital after the car which he was driving was involved in a collision with a parked lorry.
A female passenger in the car received serious injuries and has been removed to Sligo General Hospital.
The road is currently closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
