Gardai in Ennistymon are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Lahinch Road, Ennistymon, Clare on the 8th August, 2008 and name.
The 14 year old boy who was fatally injured in the fatal road traffic collision in Ennistymon, Clare on 8th August (previous release 955/08 below refers) has been named as Mathew Collins of Kilcornan, Ennistymon, Co. Clare.

Gardai in Ennistymon are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Lahinch Road, Ennistymon, Clare at 23.15 last night 8th August, 2008.
The collision involved a car and a pedal cyclist. The pedal cyclist a 14 year old boy was fatally injured when he was struck by a car travelling in the opposite direction. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was subsequently removed to Ennis General Hospital.
