Gardai in Portlaoise are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Kyletalisha, Portlaoise, Co. Laois on the 8th August 2008 and name.
The 30-year old man who died in the fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Kyletalisha, Portlaoise, Co. Laois on 8th August 2008 (previous release 953/08 below refers) has been named as Mathew Kelly of Cairn, Portarlington, Co. Laois.

Gardai in Portlaoise are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Kyletalisha, Portlaoise, Co. Laois this evening - 8th August 2008 at approximately 5.20pm.
The collision which occurred on the main Portlaoise to Mountmellick Road involved a car and a truck. The driver of the car - a 30 year old male - was fatally injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with the truck. The truck driver was not injured in the collision.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was subsequently removed to Portlaoise Hospital. Anyone with information is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 - 8674100.
