Gardaí at Letterkenny are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the 4th of August 2008 at Magherabeg, Manorcunningham, Co. Donegal, on the N13 Letterkenny to Derry road.
Gardaí at Letterkenny are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at 3.40 a.m. on the 4th of August 2008 at Magherabeg, Manorcunningham, Co. Donegal, on the N13 Letterkenny to Derry road.
Two cars crashed at the above location and a twenty year old man, the driver of one car, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The body of the dead man has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
The driver of the second car, a man in his twenties, was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. The two men were the only occupants of their cars.
The road at the scene of the crash is closed while a forensic examination of the area is carried out by Garda crash scene investigators.
