Gardai at Carraroe, Galway are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision which occurred at Main Street, Carraroe, Galway at 1.50am this morning Sunday 3rd August, 2008.
A male pedestrian, approximately 40 years of age was fatally injured after been struck by a car. His body has been removed to University College Hospital Galway.
A man in his early 30's was arrested at the scene. No other person was injured.
