Gardai in AbbeyLeix are investigating a fatal two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 12.45pm today - Sunday, 10th August 2008, at Modubeigh, Wolfhill, Ballylinan, Co. Laois.
A 32 year old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene after the motorcycle on which he was riding was involved in a collision with a jeep. No-one else was injured in the incident.
The body of the deceased has been removed to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise and local traffic diversions are in place.
